Mary Ito

Mary Ito is a Canadian broadcast journalist who has worked in radio and television.  She’s currently the host of two podcasts:  The CRAM Podcast which highlights innovative research and big ideas in Canada; and the literary podcast Passage to Wonderland which features excerpts from books that offer a sense of completion at the end of day.  Mary is also a familiar voice on CBC Radio and the former host of the CBC weekend morning show Fresh Air.  She is involved in the multidisciplinary stage production, Kimiko’s Pearl, based on the internment of Japanese Canadians during WWII which opens in 2024.
