Programming Submissions
The EMWF is now accepting submissions for 2023 programming (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, YA and children’s books). The festival will take place on Sunday September 10 in the village of Eden Mills. We program thematic sets and generally feature books published in the current year (with the exception of books that fit a pertinent theme, have recently been recognized with an award, or have some sort of other current public interest). To be considered, please email Artistic Director Nicola Dufficy the following information:
-Please tell us about the book (publication date, synopsis, major themes) and author (biographical info including where the author resides)
-Be sure to include any other details about what might make the author or book a good fit for EMWF (e.g. local author, major marketing campaign planned for the book, topical theme, etc.)
-Please send a PDF version of the book for review
The submission deadline is March 31 but due to the large number of books we consider each year (and the huge amount of reading we do!), we encourage authors to send information as soon as possible. You will receive an email reply to acknowledge that we have received your submission and then we will follow up only if we require more information or would like to extend an invitation.
