Help Write the Next Chapter This Holiday Season

The Eden Mills Writers’ Festival exists thanks to the generous support of our funders and booklovers like you.

As we kick off our annual holiday giving campaign, we’re delighted to be sharing something special with you: a brand new story.

Every week as we move toward our fundraising goal of $3,000, we will release a chapter of “Dead Air” a short story by acclaimed Guelph writer Greg Rhyno, author of the Dame Polara mystery series. Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we reach our $3,000 goal.

Read the story as it unfolds, and donate to help carry it to its ending on Giving Tuesday, December 1st. You can also follow us on social media for your chance to win a book prize giveaway every week simply by commenting on the weekly Radio Silence post and tagging two friends who love a good story.

How the weekly draw works:

  1. If you aren’t already doing so, follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
  2. Comment on the weekly installment of “Dead Air” and tag two friends. We will select a winner at random every week and be in touch by DM if your name is selected!
  3. Making a donation is not required to win, but if you are able to do so please consider donating. Your funds will be matched dollar for dollar until December 1, 2026.
