Poetry Contest for Teens

DEADLINE June 15, 2020

The contest is now closed. Winners will be announced on August 4.

Announcing our 2020 Poetry Contest for Teens! The theme of this year's contest is “MY WORLD”. Tell us about your world. Big or small, near or far.

Our theme is inspired by The League of Canadian Poets theme for National Poetry Month, April 2020: “A World of Poetry.”

We are looking for creativity and originality in the entries. We believe youth are skilled at seeing their world through a unique lens and we look forward to reading work that reflects this.
