Lisa Richter 

Lisa Richter is a poet, writer, and educator from Toronto. She is the author of two books of poetry, Closer to Where We Began (2017) and Nautilus and Bone (Frontenac House, 2020), winner of the Canadian Jewish Literary Award for Poetry, the National Jewish Book Award for Poetry (US), and the Alberta Book Publishers’ Award for poetry. Her work has appeared in Best Canadian Poetry 2024, The Fiddlehead, The Malahat Review and The Literary Review of Canada, among other places. She is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Guelph.
