If you asked…

If you ask someone what makes them smile

They might say a bright clear day

To spot a vibrant rainbow

Or to watch the trees sway

If you ask someone what makes them laugh

They might say little bunny poos

Or to help the butterflies

By running in their shoes

If you ask someone what makes them happy

They might say playing family games

Singing all their favourite songs

Or giving all their things names

All these things are great

They make you smile, laugh and thrive –

If you ask me what makes me happy

I’d say I’m happy to be alive.
