Hugging Mom
When I hug my mom, I feel safe and loved.
I’m like a lamb with its mom.
I recognize her smell,
I recognize her heartbeat.
Her breath smells like fresh coffee.
Her arms squeeze me tight.
I feel happy and joyful.
I wriggle free and run to the garden.
Mom follows me.
The garden is covered in clover flowers.
I pick one and present it to mom.
She takes it from me and hugs me again.
I love hugging mom
