Eclipse

Still in the moments of peace,
I didn’t feel so melancholy
And while I may be called sentimental,
True that memories are everything to me.

Yesterday I fell in love with a book that ended too early. I fell in love with a cookie, which
I savoured to the end. Fell in love with a flower, all purple on its own. In love with a gemstone,
sparkling green emerald. Love with a pen, that didn’t run out of ink. With myself, for being me.

That evening, I dreamed of eclipses and what it feels like to be perfectly aligned.
