Dance
Stepping up on to stage
World full of gray
Lights have been turned on
The music has begun
I come to life
Waltzing and gliding
Up and down
Stage left to stage right
I bound and bound
The tempo picks up
My joy knows not a single frown
Smiling and taking in what’s all around
A jeta a split a pas de bourrée
my movements in sync with those who do the same
dancing with them there no frown on my face
Spinning and leaping
I turn around with grace
I’ve found my place
The crowd full of sound
Happiness growing
world full of color
the music die’s down
Lights flicked off
stepping off stage
