EMWF Volunteers

The Eden Mills Writers’ Festival is a volunteer-driven event. We depend heavily on all the wonderful people who so generously donate their time and make the festival a warm and welcoming experience for our patrons.

Volunteers are required for various tasks in helping to prepare for and operate the festival. Help is needed for promotion, ticket selling, set up, clean up, and many other tasks. High school students are welcome to complete their volunteer hours by assisting at the festival.

Learn more about the experience of volunteering at the EMWF in this Volunteer Profile of one of our long-time volunteers.

The Writers’ Festival is a people-friendly event! Please note that volunteers are asked to complete AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) training. An online course is available here
