Deb Loughead is the author of more than 35 books for children and young adults. She’s conducted workshops and held readings at schools, festivals and conferences across the country. She has also written and directed children’s plays, and taught creative writing classes for adults in Toronto. Deb’s books have been translated into seven languages, and her award-winning poetry and adult fiction have appeared in a variety of Canadian publications. Her newest novel is The Secrets We Keep, a YA mystery from Dundurn Press.
Deb lives with her husband Dan in Toronto. Her three adult sons have long flown the coop, but Cleo dog and Gypsy cat are entertaining in their own right.
