The Airport

by Amelia Ting

Daddy says “It’s time to travel.
Pack your bags and hit the gravel.”
We load the car and leave very quickly.
“Stop! Turn around! I have to go pee!”

Soon we arrive at the airport with planes above us.
Daddy checks in and we wait with no fuss.
We line up at security and there is no beep.
Going to our gate, we run and leap.

The plane is ready, it’s time to board.
We carry our iPad and its cord.
We look for our seats 26 IJK.
Seatbelts on as we taxi down the runway.
