Publishers’ Way

Make sure to check out Publishers’ Way, where the Festival brings books and writers to the street. Over 50 exhibitors, including book presses, magazines, trade associations, and authors will be set up along the main street. Publishers’ Way connects festival-goers with a vibrant picture of the current Canadian literary scene. Exhibits are open noon until 6pm.
The Bookshelf’s booth, located at the centre of Publisher’s Way, will have Festival authors’ books for sale, and following Festival readings authors will be available on Publishers’ Way to sign copies of their work. This is also where you will find Festival information, the food court, and Jenny’s Place: the festival hotspot for children’s authors and activities. Visit the main street between readings or as an event itself. This September, join us on Publishers’ Way and discover the best of what’s happening in contemporary literature and arts culture.
Interested in Being an Exhibitor?
Over 1500 arts enthusiasts attend the Festival each year. If you represent a cause or product attractive to this community, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to broaden your customer base, get your name out there, and generate appeal for your organization.
As usual, exhibitors will be set up along the main street of Eden Mills (York St.), in the centre of the festivities. Unless specified, each exhibitor has 1 table and 2 chairs. Please let us know if you require a larger area. Please don’t forget to bring a covering for yourselves and your table in case of showers. Several food booths will be available on site for your convenience.
Tables and sites will be assigned to you, and you will be directed to your particular location upon arrival. The fees for exhibitors are $75 for publishers, $50 for journals, literary magazines and organizations, and $25 for self-publishers.
Click here for the registration form. You can email your completed form to Peter Mikichak (pmikwh@gmail.com) or print and mail along with payment. To ensure that you get a table, payment should be submitted by the last week of August. Please send your cheque, payable to Eden Mills Writers’ Festival, along with printed form (if not emailed) to:

The village will be closed off to allow for pedestrian traffic only. Once you have unloaded your materials, there will be a number of volunteers available to direct you to parking. As members of the public begin to arrive fairly early, we suggest you arrive between 9 am and 10 am to leave sufficient time for preparation. By 11 am, all unloading should be completed and exhibitor cars should be parked in designated areas.
If you have any questions, please contact Peter Mikichak, Publishers’ Way Coordinator at pmikwh@gmail.com
We look forward to seeing you Festival weekend!
